2013 Events
April: Hall of Fame Dinner
The Hall of Fame Inductees' plaques with the large perpetual plaque that will have all the inductees' names and yr of induction. This plaque will hang in the school. Each inductee was given their plaque and an opportunity to address the gathering with their acceptance speech.
Enrichment Grant
The association awarded the school district their first Enrichment Grant of $1000. The Board of Education President, John Mooney, and VRHS principal, Karen Urbanski, accepted the check at the Hall of Fame dinner.
May: Senior Breakfast
Above are the Alumni Volunteers for the VRHS Seniors Breakfast. 75 Seniors from the class of 2013 enjoyed tasty treats and joined hands with past graduates on the morning of their prom, thanks to the class of 1948 and the Alumni Association.

The Bd of Ed has approved our fundraiser which will coincide with Homecoming Weekend Friday September 28th. We are planning a picnic dinner before the Friday night football game, a tour of the "new" school (built in 2007), a raffle of a queen-size homemade quilt and several gift baskets, sponsored by classes.
Reunions
Outreach has occurred to the class of 2002 to have its' 10th reunion associated with the Homecoming event. The class of 1977 has also shown some interest for their 35th.
The class of 1962 is holding their 50th reunion on August 4th, 2012. It will be a picnic at Birch Hill in Schodack, NY.

May 18th - Senior Breakfast - The Alumni Association and Class of 1948 sponsored a continential breakfast for the Class of 2012 on the morning of the prom, May 11th to welcome the graduates into the Alumni Association. Thanks to Terri Burns, class advisor, Karen Urbanski, principal, and alumni: Tessa Sedlar '02, Howard Dickson '54, Ruth Dickson '56, Doris Roberts '62, Robert Pasciullo '48, and Virginia Lazzaro '69 for their assistance in making this such a wonderful celebration.

October 22, 2011 Dinner-Dance @ Birch Hill
Our first large fundraising event was a dinner-dance last October 22, 2011 at Birch Hill in Schodack (formerly Herberts). It was attended by over 100 people and was also the 50th reunion for the class of 1961 and the 55th reunion for the class of 1956. With the baskets that were raffled and the 50-50, altogether we raised over $2,000.
