Deanna Lynne (Beardsley) Lang , VRHS Class of 1968
NORTH GREENBUSH - Deanna L. Lang, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 12, 2024, at St. Peter's Hospital. Dee was born in Albany, N.Y., the daughter of the late Irving Beardsley and Geraldine (Goode) Beardsley. A lifelong resident of the city of Rensselaer, where she worked as a bank teller for Community State Bank for years before starting a family. Dee enjoyed playing bingo with her friends, bowling, visiting casinos, crocheting, spending time with her grandkids, and hosting family meals. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Donald J. Lang Jr.; two sons, Donald (Silvy) J. Lang III, Brian (Tansey) Lang; daughter, Tracey (Cory) Danner; and beloved "Nanny" to her grandchildren, Brandon, Taylor, Grayson, Mariella, Mason, Marin, and Madden. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Irving "Bill" Beardsley. Relatives and friends are invited to her calling hours on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., followed by a private service at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc., 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Deanna's memory can be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
