Kenneth Ketzer , VRHS Class of 1971
Ken (Kenneth) Ketzer, 74, entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his beloved daughters and granddaughter. Born February 4, 1951, in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph F. Ketzer Sr. and Dorothy (Fox-Ketzer) June. Ken was an avid, lifelong outdoorsman, hunting, fishing or camping whenever time allowed. A US Army Veteran, he took pride in his service accomplishments, including achieving expert level marksmanship. He was a proud father and Poppy, kind beyond measure and he leaves behind a legacy of love and honor. He is survived by devoted daughters Kimberly Ketzer, Kristina Ketzer and Rebecca (Hans) Billings of Rensselaer, NY; granddaughter Jillian Roberts; sister Joyce (Marty) Sheehan; brothers Richard "Dick" (Elena) Ketzer and William (Heather) Ketzer; and loyal, furry companions Gunner, Beau and Kobe. Predeceased by brother Joseph Ketzer Jr. and sister Jacqueline "Jackie" Decker.
