Lynne Margaret Beiermeister , VRHS Class of 1969
Voorheesville -- Lynne Margaret Beiermeister, 75, passed away serenely at her home on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, following a courageous two-year battle with leukemia. Born in Albany, Lynne was the daughter of the late Robert Beiermeister and Jean (Dutcher) Beiermeister. Lynne was a dedicated employee of the New York State Office of Mental Health. She was a pioneer in organizing FABB and the Alumni Association of the Rensselaer NY School District. She had a beautiful voice and sang in many choirs throughout her life. Lynne also owned an antique shop, "Antiquaints" and was an avid gardener. Her love, light, and memory will remain in the hearts of her cherished daughter, Megan E. Longworth; her devoted sisters, Nancy Ciprioni and Marion (Joe) Robichaud; and her numerous extended family members and lifelong friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, September 16, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m., at Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc., 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer. Inurnment will take place in Elsmere/Bethlehem Cemetery. Contributions in Lynne's memory may be made to Leukemia Research Foundation Lynne will be deeply missed. May her eternal rest bring peace to her and to all who loved her.
